Major Gifts Manager

The Campaign for America’s Future (CAF) and the Institute for America’s Future (IAF) seek a bright, motivated and collegial person with major donor fundraising experience who is excited about the opportunity to support the organizations’ mission. S/he will be part of a growing team working to raise an annual $5-6 million budget for the organization’s national operations. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of progressive issues and major donor networks. This position reports to the Director of Development and is located in our Washington, DC office.

Internships

The Campaign for America’s Future (CAF) and the Institute for America’s Future (IAF) seek interns who are well-organized team players with a commitment to and interest in progressive issues.
Interning with CAF is a great way to gain real world experience that could lead to a career in issue advocacy, public policy, public relations or many other avenues.
CAF plays a vital role in creating and coordinating national progressive policy. We engage citizens, activists and leaders in a renewed debate about the kind of country — and the kind of world — we want to build for the generations yet to come.
Interns will work with one of the following programmatic/functional teams:

• Administration
• Communications/Media Relations
• Development/Fund raising
• Online – Content
• Progressive Message/Conservative Failure
• Policy Research
• Health care
